Great morning! We saw dolphins on the way and the captain stopped the boat so we could see them! The caves were amazing! Loved this tour!

Very entertaining boat tour. There were 2 employees on the boat who spoke a total of 3 languages. English, German and Portuguese. They both clearly had fun with their job and got a few laughs :) We went into every cave and there was enough time for photos.

We hopped on a 75 min tour last minute, end of day, on our first day in Lagos. The tour was small, 10 people or so. The operator was informative. The captain was very skilled! He maneuvered us through a lot of cool caves and tight spaces safely. Great thing to do on the first day to get a lay of the land and fight off jet lag. Also conveniently located across the bridge from old town, easy to park near here and then wander over.

We took a boat tour out of Lagos with a skipper named John through Ponta da Piedade, and it was such a great experience—even with some rain!

The tour company’s office was super easy to find, right inside the train station, and there was parking available right out front. John greeted us right away, was very friendly, and made us feel at ease from the start. He walked us over to the boat, explained everything clearly, and even though the sea was a bit rough and the weather wasn't ideal, he navigated it all calmly and safely.

He shared lots of interesting info throughout the tour, pointed out all the sights, took photos for us, and added his own fun twist with some quirky jokes (my husband especially loved the “look out for the elephant” one!). The rain didn’t ruin a thing—we still really enjoyed ourselves and had fun the entire time.

It ended up being a highlight of our Portugal trip. Even my husband, who can be hard to impress, said he really liked John and the tour. We’re so glad we did it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The tour guide and skipper were very nice and the views were great. We had booked a grotto tour but due to the bad weather it had to be changed to a regular coast tour in the speed boat. They handled it very well and called us in advance to inquire whether we wanted to cancel or rebook. The only thing was we thought the tour was pretty short, only a bit less than an hour.
