About Bom Dia Boat Trips

Since 1980, Bom Dia Boat Trips in Lagos has been dedicated to preserving Portugal’s rich maritime heritage through high-quality boat tours on traditional Portuguese sailing boats. These boats already represent an icon of Lagos. Our fleet includes two vibrant, century-old wooden sailboats, each with a capacity of up to 33 guests, as well as several fibreglass boats for exploring the grottoes.

Our most popular tour is the Half-Day BBQ Sailing Tour. This memorable experience includes coastal sailing (when the wind allows), a visit to the stunning grottoes, a refreshing swim stop, and a delicious BBQ served onboard—all while enjoying the scenic Algarve coastline.

Very warm welcome in Lagos by a French gentleman for this boat trip where our little dog was able to take the trip with us....that's a plus
But what a disappointment in the boat the explanations are only in English and the person is in no way concerned...about us..

We did the 1 hour grotto boat trip from Lagos Marina. It was fun and informative and I would recommend it to anyone looking to see the rugged coastline, rock formations, beaches and grottos between Lagos marina and Ponta da Piedade.

My wife and I had a great experience with Bom Dia. The crew was so fun and nice. The views were absolutely breath taking, during a beautiful golden hour sunset. It was a bit chilly, but the creew had blankets and jackets which was so thoughful. Drinks were all very affordable. If I was to come back, I'd likely go on this cruise again as it was a great way to spend the evening. We grabbed dinner after with a couple that we met on the boat, great night!!!

Great combo of sailing on a sail boat and a speed boat between the caves. Usually the companies sell one of these tours, but Bom Dia offers them together. Great experience! Truly enjoyed. Highly recommended.

What an amazing day with Bom Dia Boat Trips. An absolute great recommendation for a relaxed day onboard of their beautiful sailing ship Bom Dia Lagos. The Baia de Lagos Cruise is a full service experience with a visit to the wonderful caves at the shore of Lagos. The crew is very hospitable and they serve the best cocktails, drinks and a nice lunch. On top of that a dive into the cristal clear ocean is a real treat. Thanks for a great cruise and your warm hospitality! See you all soon again!

I absolutely recommend this company for a tour of the grottos and caves off the coast of Lagos. We were on their 2hour tour, and I wish we booked for longer! We started on a sailboat out, and had the option to purchase drinks if we wanted. The crew was kind and knowledgeable, and ready to help with any questions we had. They split our groups in two, so we were able to have time lounging on the boat and swimming, and then the opportunity to go out on the skiff to see the grottos. It was an amazing experience, and I can’t recommend enough!
