Are you ready for a Paddle Board Lesson and Tour in Rehoboth Back Bay?
This Paddle Board Lesson and Tour in Rehoboth Back Bay is a unique and exciting opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to learn how to paddle board. Explore the warm and shallow waters of Rehoboth Bay with a certified instructor by your side, making this experience perfect for all levels of paddlers. The 75-minute excursion includes a lesson, all necessary gear and safety equipment, and even photography, everything you need except gratuity.
This daily experience takes place in Dewey Beach, which is convenient for anyone staying in Rehoboth, Dewey, Lewes, or North Bethany. However, if the wind is too strong, you may have the option to take the excursion in a kayak, which will handle the wind better, or the excursion may be re-routed to the Broadkill River in Milton. There is a minimum requirement of 2 people for a group tour to take place, but if you are a party of 1, you can choose to convert to a private lesson or join an existing group lesson.
It’s important to note that there are no restrooms on site and the best experience is had when winds are 12 mph or less. Also, gear sharing or swapping at the Dewey concession is not allowed, and the minimum age for a guided tour is 13. For groups with children under 13, it is recommended to book a private group or self-guided rental, as the guides will have more time and attention to give to children in a private appointment.
When preparing for your paddle board experience, bring a towel, a change of clothes, water to drink, sunscreen, and a waterproof pouch, which can also be purchased on-site. Sunglass straps can also be purchased on-site. Additionally, it is customary to bring tips for your guide. Dress in dry wicking clothing, such as a bathing suit or board shorts, and bring a hat to protect from the sun. Footwear is optional. Parking on Dagsworthy Street is free before 10AM and after 5PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and can be paid for through the PARK MOBILE APP.
