Rota dos Cetáceos

I paid for a swimming with dolphins experience and even though seeing whales was pretty cool, that excursion cost significantly less than swimming with dolphins. They decided half an hour before the scheduled end time that they would go back to the port because they couldn't find any dolphins. I understand it can be hard to find wild animals in the ocean but they gave up on looking half an hour early so, not only did I not get the experience I paid for, but they also ripped the entire boat of customers off for the time they paid for. They also mentioned that it can be hard to find sea life because there are scientists who tag the animals with a gun and since they don't like getting shot (understandably) they avoid the boats. I emailed them about getting the difference refunded because I don't think it's fair to pay extra for a dolphin experience when we just went on a cut-short whale watching excursion but they aren't answering me. They answered me when I had questions before I paid for the tour so I guess it's one of those companies that care more about the money than the experience they give people. I'd recommend booking with a different company if you want to get what you're paying for.
