Then, put your knowledge to the test and follow up your morning classroom session by spending 45 minutes in a heated indoor pool. While in the pool, your scuba instructors will also show you some key pool skills you can apply when scuba diving near a beach close to Hilo Bay, a popular port for relaxing on the beach, scuba diving, and snorkeling on Hawaii’s Big Island.

Next, you’ll make your way to spend 45 minutes scuba diving in the open waters near one of the reefs that hug the Big Island’s coastline. Hawaii is famous for its coral reefs, which account for 60% of the United States’ reef ecosystems. Catch a glimpse of tropical fish and Hawaiian green sea turtles before heading back to your port in Hilo. This tour is great if you want to learn something new and get outside at the same time.
